Chapter 3

Operation

FRONT PANEL

The TSU 100 front panel monitors operation and controls the

configuration of the unit. The TSU 100 Front Panel is shown in

Figure 3-1 on page 3-3. Descriptions of each part of the front

panel follow.

Table 3-1. Front Panel Descriptions

Name Description

LCD Window Displays menu items and messages in two lines by

16 characters. It also displays alarm and status

information.

Enter Key Selects active menu items. To select a menu item,

press the number of the item. The menu item

flashes, indicating it is activated. Press Enter to

select the menu item.

Up and Down

Arrows

and

Down Arrows

scroll through and activate

the submenu items available in the current menu.

When the submenu items are scrolled, the flashing

cursor indicates the active parameters.

Cancel Key Pressing the

Cancel

key stops the current activity

and returns to the previous menu. Repeat until the

desired menu level is reached. When a submenu

item is displayed, press

Cancel

to exit the current

display and return to the previous menu.

Numeric

Keypad

The numeric keypad contains the numbers

through

which are used to activate menu items

and enter information (such as the IP address).
