Line (Telnet) Interface Config Command Set Command Reference Guide

line-timeout <minutes>

Use the line-timeout command to specify the number of minutes a line session may remain inactive before

the ADTRAN OS terminates the session. Use the no form of this command to return to the default value.

Syntax Description

Specifies the number of minutes a line session may remain inactive before the

ADTRAN OS terminates the session.

Entering a

line-timeout

value of 0 disables the feature.

Default Values

<minutes> 15 minutes (Console and Telnet)

Command Modes

(config-line)# Line Configuration Mode

Valid interfaces include: Console (con 0) and Telnet (telnet X)

The following example specifies a timeout of 2 minutes:

line telnet 0
