erase [<filename> | startup-config ]
Use the erase command to erase the specified file.
Syntax Description
<filename>
startup-config
Specifies the name of the file (located in FLASH memory) to erase.
Erases the startup configuration file stored in NVRAM.
Default Values
No default value necessary for this command.

Usage Examples
The following example erases the startup configuration file stored in NVRAM:
>
enable

erase startup-config
If a new startup-configuration file is not specified before power-cycling the unit, the ADTRAN OS will initialize
using a default configuration.
